Here's Why Retreats Are The Secret Weapon to Growing Your Business

Here's why retreats are a secret weapon in almost any business model. Let's take a look at your business. Maybe you're a coach, a consultant, maybe you provide a service based business. Well, look at your competition for a second. Are your competitors roughly, give or take, offering a similar service as you? If you're a marketing company and you look at another marketing company, let's say you have a dental marketing company and a dental marketing company.
Well, what's going to make one person pick one business over the other? Or let's say you're a life coach, well, what's going to help someone pick you as the life coach for their problems versus another life coach who they see online, also making posts, also hosting webinars and trainings? What's going to make somebody pick you versus your competitors?
You might think, well, it's my pricing. I want to price lower than my competitors. Bad idea. You might be thinking, well, as long as I'm as friendly, if I'm the friendliest life coach, well, then I'm going to get more clients. Not necessarily true. I've come to realize that business owners need to differentiate themselves in the marketplace.
What's different about you?

Do you love to meet people IN-REAL-LIFE?

What's different about you that somebody else who's observing you can physically see with their eyes? Because they're not going to know how good you are until they buy with you. They're not going to know how good you are until they're actually in your program.
But if the hardest part is actually getting them into your program and somebody doesn't want to sign up for a six month relationship with you because they don't know you, well, let me share with you a little secret weapon in your business, something that can help you differentiate yourself amongst all the competitors, something that will make you stand out and something that will give you an opportunity for people to taste you, sample you without having to eat the entire meal. And that's why you should start hosting retreats.
Now at the bottom of this video, there's a training you can check out on the four shifts you have to make when it comes to hosting retreats, where you can make five and six figures worth of income in the next 12 months just using retreats. But think about retreats. Maybe you're like me, maybe you love experiencing people in person.

Retreats Need Less Than 15 People to Be Profitable

I'm the type of person where when someone meets me in person, they say to me, Dude, I love your energy. There's something about you. I could talk to you all day. And maybe people say the same things about you. Maybe when someone meets you at an event or at a networking party, they come up to you and they're like, Hey, I've seen you online, but I really like your energy. And that's just I'm so glad I met you. I feel like I could talk to you all day. Can I pick your brain? Can I buy you lunch? Can I buy you a coffee? I'd love to ask you some questions. Well, maybe you can replicate that in person energy. Maybe you can't replicate that online. Maybe your energy doesn't come across on social media posts. Maybe you're not overly comfortable being on video, so you're not posting a lot of video content. Well, if you know that you're really good with people in person and you hate having to DM people all day on social media, you don't want to post another LinkedIn article or an Instagram Reel, you don't want to do those things, well, why not direct people to a retreat?
And a retreat is a small event, 5, 10, 15 people where you send out a couple of DMs, you make a couple of social media posts, you invite people to your retreat, facilitate two and a half days worth of mind blowing transformational experiences which help you differentiate yourself in the marketplace, help you become the industry leader, add recurring income to your business, and then use the retreat to offer a back end program, meaning an upsell opportunity for a select few people at your event to now go deeper with you for the next 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. And that's called the back end program.
And we cover these four big shifts that you have to make in the training video below. So definitely check it out. But a nd I've always found that retreats and live events and live experiences are the differentiating factor. If I have to choose between Coach A or Coach B or Consultant A or Consultant B, I'm going to go with the person who I vibe with the most. And if both of them roughly feel and look and energetically offer the same thing, and one decides that they're having a live event in Costa Rica and tickets are super affordable and I can go experience them in person, well, I'm going to want to go to Costa Rica.
Let's be honest. And maybe your clients feel the same way, too. So if you want to start hosting retreats, if you want to differentiate yourself, if you want to make more money this year than you did last year, retreats might be your ticket to a higher financial year. Check out the video below, enroll in the free training.
You're going to love it. And I can't wait for you to host your first retreat.
