How you think about yourself is 100% responsible for the results you do and do not have.

In recent conversations with very successful people, I’m noticing the language they are using to describe their current situation.
“Making money feels hard”
“I don’t have enough leads”
“I’m not smart enough”
“I’m not making the best decisions”
“I’ve completely stopped working out”
“I can’t control my diet”
“My life is a yo-yo”
“What will people think if I really speak my mind”
“The market is saturated in my space”
“I feel overwhelmed and I don’t know what to do”
“Other people have something figured out I don’t”
“My money stories are keeping me stuck”
“Every day is starting to feel the same”
What’s TRUE about these statements?
For the individuals thinking this way, these statements are 100% true for them.
What’s also true here?
They are all one decision away from changing their situation.
Some people become very defensive when you challenge their thinking.
They begin to identify their thoughts with who they are.
These unconscious thoughts become your norm.
You can’t change what you can’t see.
But you are not your thoughts.
And you might be beating yourself up for not having what you want.
Before you pick up another book, or hire another coach, do some digging into your thoughts.
Find out where you’re coming from.
How do you see yourself?
How have you been identifying with your situation?
How would future you address the current obstacle in your way?
Can you begin to identify as someone who’s got this figured out?
Something has to change.
Otherwise…
You will continue running at full-speed,
only to realize you’ve been sprinting
in the wrong direction.
