If you’re out for a hike and see a bear, your heart rate might quickly increase.
You might clench your entire body.

Some of you might pass out.

This is what happens when you feel like there is no hope for survival.

This is how so many people view life, they just aren’t conscious about it.

And every day feels like there is a bear…inches away..waiting to come out.

Their career is a bear.
Their clients are a bear.
Their spouse is a bear.

If you’re with people all day long but mentally you’re checked out, you know the feeling I’m talking about.

This detachment happens when you lose sight of who you are.

You start to detach from your work.

Detach from your clients.
Detach from your spouse.
Detach from your friends.

It’s your subconscious detecting a threat saying “something isn’t right here”.

But, because the brain likes habits and patterns, you remain in this loop.

What do you think will happen when you can see the bear…but you keep ignoring it?

This is one of the reasons why I love what I do.

Not only do we identify your bear, but we tackle every day expecting the bear and feeling prepared to combat the challenges the bear will bring.

Clearly, the bear is a metaphor for living an unfulfilled life, wondering if you’re ever going to be good enough, not feeling like an imposter, and not living to your full potential.
